Your car's
air conditioning compressor is one of the most expensive components in the
entire A/C system! Because it's one of the only moving parts on the system,
special care should be taken to assure that it always has a flow of refrigerant
oil (compressor oil) and refrigerant (freon). The problem occurs when a system
gets contaminated. That contamination quickly plugs the orifice tube. When
that happens, your A/C compressor loose's all the flow of oil and refrigerant.
Why is that important? It's important because the oil lubricates the compressor
and the refrigerant cools it! Learn more about the importance of protecting
your auto A/C compressor.

Why
install an in-line filter? |
|
| Your
car's air conditioning system relys on A/C compressor oil to be circulated
throughout the system and maintain compressor lubrication. In fact, the a/c
compressor is the only reason your car's air conditioning system has oil
in it. There are no other components that require lubrication, and on orifice
tube systems, the A/C compressor is the only moving part!
When
the air conditioning system starts to get contaminated, (because of moisture)
harmful acids are formed. Those acids cause corrosion and debris. That corrosion
easily can restrict an orifice tube or expansion valve. When that happens,
the flow of oil to your compressor stops!
When
you install an in-line A/C filter, you provide a much larger filter surface.
Above that, the filter is designed to trap and hold more contamination and
debris. That way, you will always maintain a flow of refrigerant oil to your
A/C compressor. |

Why
the Keep-it-Kleen In-Line A/C Filter?
Because it provides the best protection for your car's A/C Compressor. This
filter utilizes a special 4 stage filter that traps any debris or contamination
in your A/C system and still allows the orifice tube to flow refrigerant
(freon) and oil to your A/C compressor.
It's
also the last in-line filter you will ever install! That's because the filter
pack is replaceable. Next recharge, don't through out the filter... just
replace the filter pack!
Filter
kits ship with complete instructions and installation template. No special
tools required! Simply remove the refrigerant, install in the liquid line
before the orifice tube and recharge the system. In applications where the
orifice tube is 'in-line' or in the condenser, they should be removed and
replaced with the universal orifice tube available for the in-line filter.
That way, all the heavy debris and contamination gets filtered BEFORE the
orifice tube and your A/C compressor will always have a flow or refrigerant
and compressor oil!
